Nana Akwasi Asare is Co-Founder and Deputy Director (Research, Grant and Training) of the Center for Medical and Agro-Computing (C-MAC), where he co-leads the development of practical AI solutions for healthcare and agriculture in low-resource settings.

As an AI Research Engineer, he specializes in leveraging deep learning and computer vision for both the classification and segmentation of medical images, including CT and MRI scans for detecting diseases such as gastrointestinal polyps, brain tumors, pancreatic structures, and many more.
